Now that the Hot August Nights, Reno event has been rescheduled, will the nationals be rescheduled so that HAN directly follows? I plan on attending both. Admin reply: What a great question. We welcome you to the "Biggest Little Car Show in the West"! I think I need a crystal ball for the answer. Here is what I know right now. The dates for the OCA Nationals for 2011 probably will not change.

Nice website. However, the Outlook Express message response makes it impossible to respond to any message. The system asks all these questions that I have no idea what the answers are. Do you have a book I could buy to learn how to send a message? The person who sent you the original message probably thinks you are ignoring them. Admin reply: Hi Nelson, This is our Guestbook. The purpose of a guestbook is for visitors to post there comments to the administrator about the web site. Only the admin. can reply to messages posted here. Who did you want to respond to? We have a Bulletin Board for the purpose of visitors to communicate with each other. There you will be able to post a message and wait for a response by other visitors to this site. I hope this helps you. Don

Just moved to San Francisco from Texas. I have a '72 Cutlass Holiday Coupe, original family owned. I will be bringing the car to CA in a couple of weeks and plan on using it for my daily driver. I look forward to joining the club and meeting other car-folks from the area.

I have as far as I can tell a 1951 olds 98 holiday coupe, I reciently aquired it for a song and I'm not really sure what to do with it. Is there much demand for this model in the hot rod or restoration world? Admin reply: The 1949-1950 Oldsmobile especially the "Rocket" performance optioned ones are very high on the collectible list. 1951 is more rare as few were sold to do the Korean war. I'm not sure what you want to do with this acquisition. If you are a car guy you probably want to keep and restore it. Parts and help are available. If you don't have this affliction you want to determine a fair price and let someone else bare the expense and effort. I would take pictures of the car and gather all pertinent documentation. Then see if there are any similar vehicles on E-bay Craig's list, etc. Then see what it brings. If you want to get into the hobby, I'm sure there are many people in our club and elsewhere that would be glad to welcome you and offer assistance. Please let me know what you decide, good luck Don

I have a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass for sale. I am the second owner of the vehicle. The car only has 67,000 miles on it and is in great shape. It is a white 2 door with perfect blue interior. The only reason i am selling it is because i recently joined the United States Army. If you are interested in the car or know anyone who is call me. my number is 925 234 0577. thank you.

I have a neighbor who is in his 80s and is selling his light green 1972 Olds convertible he bought new. He asked if I could help him sell it, but I don't know exactly how to go about it. His wife knows how to get around on a computer, so I told her to list it on craigslist. How can I help them determine what to ask for it? It's all original, with the exception of a newer tan colored top. It has 200,000+ miles on it. He drives it regularly. Got any suggestions? Thanks, Jeff Broussard Admin reply: Jeff, There are some professional appraisers that will charge you to give an estimate of a cars value. I, however, would check what other people are asking for similar vehicles on eBay, Craig's list or web site (bulletin boards) like ours to get a fair value. It ultimately comes down to what someone else will pay and the amount that you will take for it. You can list this car on our BB for free. Good Luck. Don

How much are those 2011 nationals t-shirts? Admin reply: The T-shirts that you see on the web site are club shirts and sell for the prices on the order form. The 2011 Nationals are still more than a year off. The 2011 National Meet t-shirts are still on the drawing board. They will bear the logo of the event. This logo appears prominently on the top of the 2011 Nationals page. Bye the way if you want a club shirt, they are free to new members! Please feel free to order as many as you like with the order form at the bottom of the Shirts and Stuff page. Thanks for your interest. Don
